Your coupon is issued when your referral makes a purchase. No purchase, no reward. Oh nos! But! If five referrals make a purchase? That’s a free class or consult for you. Yay!

Coupons expire after 30 days. It’s a use ’em or lose ’em scenario here. We figure a month is fair. Right?

Q: What if I’ve taken all Max classes and don’t need a 20% off coupon?

A: Do you know someone who hasn’t taken all the Max classes and could use 20% off? Selfish! Share with them!

Q: What if the person I share with wants a class and I want a consult?

A: You both may use the 20% for either a class or consult. The item you use your coupon for does not have to match theirs.

Q: Can I use the coupon for more than one class or consult?

A: Yes. You can only use the coupon once, but you can put multiple items (classes, consults) in the cart for one order and the coupon will apply to everything in the cart.

Q: What if I have six coupons?

A: The left over credit balance will be saved to your account for future purchases.

Q: Can I give my coupons to someone else?

A: We don’t think so, no. Your coupons are linked to your specific account. But if you wish to gift the discount coupons to someone else, you can talk to Max and she can pull some levers behind the curtain.

Q:  If I have five 20% off coupons, can I use them all together for a free class or consult?

A: Yes. Ooh la la!

Q: Do the 20% off coupons apply to coaching packages?

A: No. Sorry. Coaching packages are the one excluded item. But the discounts do apply to strategy sessions. Check out Max Coaching.

Q: Do I get a 20% off coupon as soon as someone uses the link?

A: Sorry, no. You get a 20% off coupon when someone who uses the link makes a purchase. We’d go toes up here if we passed out free classes and consults every time someone uses a link. Also, we’d owe Google our shirts. No purchase, no coupon. Sorry. Them’s the rules.

Q: I’m a troubled loner and don’t have any social connections. How do I participate?

A: Bummer! We guess this is not for you. We’re a little skeptical though. You are online….

Q: I keep sharing the link online and nobody is clicking it. What am I doing wrong?

A: We feel your pain. You can share links all the hell over the internet and never get a click. Nature of the beast. Oh nos! To get clicks you actually have to sell it. (Oh the humanity!) For example, “Max’s screenwriting classes are the best screenwriting classes I’ve ever taken. You should check them out and if you use this link you get 20% off tuition.”

Q: If you’re so smart, why aren’t you sharing the link and “selling it”?

A: We think recommendations mean more to others when they come from people who have taken and benefitted from and believe in Max’s classes. We could be wrong. But we’re willing to bet 20% tuition on it.
