Nobody has talked in this topic for two years. I guess that sums up 2020 and 2021. People are beginning to talk about attending Austin Film Festival this year, @tonia and @despina have both mentioned they are planning to attend.

One thing everyone should be paying attention to with contests this year is, are these contests sponsored by production entities and/or about providing written material to production entities? If they are, submitting to them is scabbing because it provides material to companies represented by the AMPTP.

This especially applies to competitions clearly named for production entities, like Disney, HBO, and Warner Bros competitions, but includes any competition sponsored by and providing written material to production entities being struck against until the AMPTP returns to the table and negotiates a contract with fair terms for writers of film and television.
