2022 PRESS || NEWS || UPDATES || COMPETITIONS
This is cool. The New Screenwriter's Survival Guide got a shout out from Bill True in his article for the Phoenix Screenwriter's Association:
Peter seems to have left out he just won a Blue Skies screenwriting Fellowship. Yay! Here are the new Blue Sky Screenwriting Competition winners and look at our Peter right in there. Yay!
The play I directed hits the boards this evening. A comedy, Crazy Ladies Night Out, features characters from the films Carrie, Psycho, and Fatal Attraction.
I'm writing to people I connected with at AFF.
What do you think about an addition to my signature line shown below? Smart? Reasonable? Gauche? Disastrous?
@peter Blue Sky Screenwriting Fellow at the bottom in text works and is a great sign off.
I wouldn't put the graphic on there. That looks too adsy and maybe a little desperate plus it emphasizes Blue Sky, not you as a fellow.
I'm getting ready to put out the Jan newsletter, anyone have any news I should be including?
(Things got jumbled up during the move I have lost track of most news so do not worry you are repeating yourself if you have already posted something, that is flat gone from my head at the moment post it again!)
Happy New Year!
Happy new year and no new news from me. Dropped off of social media so not as in touch as I used to be.
Congrats on the move Max. Where did you end up?
I signed up for First 30 Pages to start next week with my EDDY JEAN feature thriller. And I signed up to consult with Max on the script in February. So excited to work on this with Max!!!! The story is inspired by a murder in Southeast Austin.
For the newsletter:

With trepidation.... Towanda is ready to pick on me as she sends love to Max. I'm sure she'll join chat time.
@debiyaz Very cool news, Debi. I am so looking forward to having you in class and working with you in the consult on Eddy Jean.
Also, give Towanda mad love from me. Yay!
Happy New Year!
