As part of winning The Los Angeles Comedy Film & Screenplay Festival, they did a read of our Cold Open.
Oyez, it is that time of year again. 5150 Birthday Frenzy! We are another year older this June. Not just any year older either. Sweet Sixteen. Yay yay yay! And —
5150 Sweet Sixteen Alumni Chat is a go! (And if this goes awry I will so blame Peter. Or Cricket.) Yay yay yay!
When: June 30
What Time: 10 PM ET
Where: The Garbo Room
See you there!
My play, Stone Upon Stone, will be presented on the first evening of the 16th Annual Aery Theatre Company 20/20 One-Act Festival, September 9. It's a stretch for me since it is Brechtian rather than Aristotelian. (Doesn't that just lure you in?) Two of the three actors will be channeling spirits - live, on stage! (Eat your heart out, Whoopi!) I won't be there on opening night because of a previous commitment. (Which I can't disclose yet, but some of you know.) Unless it gets enough votes, I'll never see it in performance. It will remain perfect in my imperfect brain.
Honored to say my script Saigon Doll made the quarters at Nicholl.
Also, shout out to Max! It wouldn't have made it if not for a consult from Max.
@tony Congratulations, Tony! That is so cool.
Thank you for the shout out. Smooch!
Nicholl notices are out. @tony made it. Yay yay yay! Any other survivors?
@peter Very cool, Peter. Which play(s) of yours are they putting on and do you know which night and what time?
@seemaxrun Hi, Max It's called Stone Upon Stone. It will be on stage September 9. The show begins at 7PM and the second play is mine.
