Shut up. I like fashion. Writers CAN like fashion you know. We don't always exercise it, it's not part of the uniform, but dammit we can like it some of us are closet fashionistas. Not naming any names....
I tried out Color Street nail polish strips. They're pretty. I'm wondering how they are going to hold up to me washing my hands 30-50 times a day (that is not an exaggeration btw) but then regular polish hasn't been holding up very well to that. One really cool thing is no more polish smudges around the nails I have to get off after polishing my nails. Now I am checking out different colors and samples and have become ensorcelled by the polka dots....
Also, I am ensorcelled by some of the combinations I am seeing on Amazon. Look how pretty. Ahh!
There is a certain irony in all this nail polish ensorcellment and madness — I never leave the house without gloves on now and the only person who sees my nails now is me. But I can have pretty nails just for me dammit! Also I am filming again here and it will be pretty nails for others too when the vids are released so there is that.
This is my first application. It is a little rough around the edges, now I know it's better to start in the middle and smooth outward to the sides to avoid air pockets in the middle you have to smoosh down.
I got my samples from my friend Jill McWhirter by the way you can check out her nail polish strips store here: https://www.colorstreet.com/Jillseznails/products
Still lusting after adorable Sorels I have nowhere to wear and no good reason to buy.

‘Bad Bunny Forum’ sneakers! How apropos! And cute!
Well, I splurged and ordered my first shoes (Fluevogs!) since the pandemic. No more sneakers all the time.
I got some little bib harem overalls to have something cute to wear around the apartment that is not sweats. (I am profoundly tired of sweats at this point.)
